US Trip, Day 1 – San Fransisco
I’m currently on a family trip to the US & I forgot to bring my travel diary so I decided to write about the trip on my blog, predominantly from my iPhone4.
Our trip started on Sunday April 17, 2011. We left Sydney on UA 870 @ 2:30 Aest & landed in the USA via San Fransisco on the same day @ 11:30 in the morning, can’t tell you how odd that feels & it seemed to be a very long day due to lack of sleep on the plane.
Total travel distance was 11,000km give or take a few & our average altitude was 35,000 feet.
Our first day in SF started with a walk around to get to know the area we were staying & grabbing some lunch, this was the kids first real burger, fries & coke in a more traditional 50′s style diner, complete with juke box.
We completed the day by doing a bit of shopping & having dinner at a local Italian restaurant.
