Started the headset rebuild & about 50% done, noticed I’m missing the shim for the gear change side + the steering lock, always something missing!

Back from the electroplater I can start on rebuild a the headset.

I’m sending off a batch of internal parts to the electro players to have them zinc coated, should make them look nice & new.

This batch is for the internals of the headset.

I decided to go through the time consuming process of polishing all the aluminum parts myself, took a long time to do but the end result was very satisfying.

Lambretta Li150 rebuild, more progress

Had a few hours in the shed yesterday & managed to get a few little jobs done.

I wrestled the petrol tank into place with the brand new stainless steel tank straps, what an effort that was!

Plus I installed a new lock into the Tool Box door & then installed that into the body.
